Thing #12
Well this "Thing" was both positive and negative for me... :) It forced me to take the time to read others blogs which was very interesting. I felt very intimidated by some blogs. Mine is very elementary compared to many but then I also read the pain of other newbies so I know that I am not alone on this quest of discovery. Reflecting on my feelings of inadequacy while reading some of the blogs made me take a long look at how my SPED students feel everyday of their lives. Feeling dumb is not fun!

Hi! Thank you for your kind remarks about my blog. It has been, and will continue to be, a learning experience. You said you were having trouble posting your Library Thing shelf. Here is what I did. Somewhere in Library Thing there is some html which you copy to post your shelf. Copyt, and then go to the area of your blog where you can create a post. Select layout, and then if you want it on the side choose add page element from the side. Scroll down and choose HTML/Java Add to Blog. Paste in. Save. It will be on top, but you drag that element to the position you would like it to be. Preview. Post when you like it. Hope this is correct and that it works for you. I am working from memory, so I may have forgotten a step.
It is difficult learning new things, but think of all those brain cells we are keeping active!
Everyone starts somewhere and your blog is looking great! Your enthusiasm for learning shines through your posts! We are all on this journey, just at different stops along the way!
I think your blog looks terrific!
I am a friend from your "neck of the woods." I am finished #23 ! so I know you are going to love the rest of Library2Play. Just keep going - you are doing a great job!!
Believe me my blogs are very elementary. Blogging is definitely new for me as the majority of the web software we are using. As a computer teacher that does not teach web classes, I know the students cannot understand that. This class is helping me. I need to be prepared for that web question so this has been not only informative but fun.
